This morning at Forskaren, we explored how geopolitical change, new behaviours and a rapidly evolving world are reshaping the Nordic pharmaceutical landscape - and how stronger collaboration can support innovation, patient access and competitiveness.

Key conclusions:
• The Nordic countries must collaborate rather than get caught up in competing with one another.
• We need to sit around the same table, look at the same data and build a shared understanding.
• We need forums where we can be transparent with one another and better understand each other’s perspectives.

Sjukvårdsminister Elisabet Lann (KD) mötte Karin Rågsjö (V), riksdagsledamot och Vänsterpartiets vårdpolitiska talesperson, i ett samtal lett av journalisten Anna Bäsén

Statligt eller regionalt ansvar? Vilken roll ska privata aktörer ha i vården? Och hur kan tillgången till vård och läkemedel bli mer jämlik i hela landet?

Lösningarna diskuterades och frågorna väckte stort engagemang hos publiken. Tack till alla medverkande och besökare för en angelägen och livfull debatt!

Yesterday we had a Welcome Back After Work together with at our rooftop!

Growing more than just greenery at Forskaren

Last week, our community came together to plant new greenery on the terrace in Forskaren – a small action that reflects something bigger.

At Forskaren, we believe that innovation and sustainability go hand in hand. By creating greener spaces, we contribute to biodiversity and hope to inspire to a better workplace.

A great start to the day at Forskaren as and welcomed representatives Axel Conradi, Opposition Regional Councillor in Region Stockholm, and Noria Manouchi, Member of Parliament, from Moderaterna for the second breakfast dialogue in our series on Life Science, competitiveness, and innovation. Thank you to all participants for an open and constructive discussion on the future of healthcare, research and policy in Sweden.

This morning’s breakfast conversation highlighted an important issue: the number of organ donations and registrations in Sweden is decreasing — while the need for life-saving transplants remains high.

We discussed why taking a stand on organ donation matters, who can donate, what living donation means, and how increased awareness can save lives and improve quality of life for those waiting for transplantation.
A big thank you to Gabriela Brandén from MOD- Mer organdonation and moderator Anders Åker for sharing knowledge, perspectives, and experiences on such a vital topic.

Every decision matters. By learning more, taking a stand and helping spread awareness, we can contribute to giving more people a second chance at life.

At today’s breakfast talk opened up for a discussion on how Sweden can get greater impact from its Life Science innovation investments. Despite strong research and top innovation rankings, challenges around scaling, capital and collaboration remain.

Joel Ambré, CEO at Vectura highlighted one of Sweden’s key strengths: collaboration. He emphasized the need for more cross-industry partnerships and shared infrastructure — including shared lab environments and spaces designed for both planned and spontaneous innovation meetings — to help strengthen Sweden’s Life Science ecosystem.
