Do you know there is this bird watching tower Pasir Ris Mangrove Swamp in the middle of Pasir Ris Park?

This is one of the two protected mangrove swamps in Singapore, the others is Sungei Buloh Wetland Reserves.

I took this photo while admiring the calm and serene upright tower, not knowing it’s purpose until I read up on some NParks articles.

Before you venture out into this mangrove swamp, I suggest you put some mosquitoes repellent first.
