Lee Lung Nien has been elected President of the Singapore Golf Association (SGA) following a vote at the Annual General Meeting. Lee succeeds Tan Chong Huat, who completes his term after four years at the helm of the national governing body for golf in Singapore 🇸🇬⛳️

A fantastic turnout at the SGA Junior Engagement Seminar, held at on the 10th August public holiday! ⛳️🇸🇬

The session kicked off with Assistant National Coach, Mr. Joshua Shou introducing the SGA High Performance Program, detailing its selection criteria and key components to help our young golfers map out their pathway forward.

In the second half, Dr. Jay Lee Nair presented The Collaborative Parent and the Thriving Player, sharing invaluable high-performance habits and actionable tips for parents and players to build a strong, supportive foundation together.

Thank you to our speakers and to all the families who spent their public holiday with us to invest in the next generation of golf talent!

It has been a week to remember for Troy Storm at this week’s US Junior Amateur Championship.

He outplayed American Hudson Justus 6&5 in the round of 32 but was eventually denied a place in the last eight after being defeated by New Zealand’s Ryan Xie 4&3 in the subsequent matchplay.

The journey towards becoming a global golfing talent continues for our 17-year-old national squad member, and with performances like these, the future is certainly bright 🌟🇸🇬

Troy Storm’s run at US Junior Amateur Championship continues as our 17-year-old national squad member advances to the round of 32 after a battling 3&2 victory over No. 4 seed Vaclav Svub from Czechia🔥

Storm is set to take on American Hudson Justus next.

It was a battling day out on the Grace course at Saucon Valley Country Club as Troy Storm ended his second round with a seven-over-par 77 at the US Junior Amateur Championship.⛳️

Storm’s two-day total of four-over-par 145 has, however, secured him a place in the round of 64 matchplay, where he will take on Czechia’s Vaclav Svub.
Brayden Lee made his early exit after rounds of 73 and 78.

Troy Storm starts his campaign at the US Junior Amateur Championship with a three-under-par 68 in tied-third place. Our national squad member is two shots back of American leader Sohan Patel 🔥

Brayden Lee, meanwhile, carded a 73 for a share of 47th place.
The field, which features 264 players, will be cut to the low 64 scorers for match play after the second round.
