Government Raises Sellerโ€™s Stamp Duty Rates for Private Homes.

Holding period increased from 3 years to 4.

Duty raised to 16% for holding of 1 year or less, and drops by 4 percentage points for each additional year; SSD duration extends to 4 years.

This is with effect from today 4th July 2025.
