All HDB Tenants you're reminded not to take the laws into your own hands to sublet a HDB flat. When in SG, please follow our laws! It is against HDB regulations for a Tenant to sublet any HDB room. Any breach of law will be reported to HDB for investigation.

HDB flats are the Homes of Singapore Citizens. We value our privacy and do not wish our homes to be converted into short term stay accommodation with strangers constantly moving in and out. If you're Tenants in our HDB blocks, please observe our rules and know your boundaries as Tenants.

As Tenants, you're guests in SG as your host country. You should not make your hosts uncomfortable about having you working and living here. Our Citizens are watching your behaviour and we will not tolerate any infringement of our laws or intrusion into our lives in the HDB block where we call homes. Please take note.

VICTORY OVER AN UNLICENSED REAL ESTATE AGENT

Let this be a WARNING to all those who are presently: -
1. acting & behaving like Real Estate Agents or
2. acting & behaving like a HDB Owner when he is actually only a Tenant

Kudos to our fellow Citizen who has successfully lodge a case with the Council of Estate Agent (CEA) against a fake Real Estate Agent.

The fake Real Estate Agent was arrogant and laughed at our vigilante Citizen for being a busy body. His law breaking and crime was brought to a stop and he was fined $14,000.

A fake real estate agent is someone who advertises on social media that he has houses or rooms to rent to prospective tenants without a valid license from the CEA in Singapore.

It's totally wrong for someone to deal in any sort of house or room rental without: -

1. Being a Citizen or PR
2. A valid license from CEA

To do so is considered as Stealing the income of our Citizens & PR who have worked hard and qualified to be a Real Estate Agent. It is 100% illegal and against the laws in Singapore.

Be warned that our vigilante Citizens are on the look out for those who think that they can do what they like in Singapore for their own benefits. We will spare no efforts to discover and report the law breakers to the relevant authorities. When in Singapore, it's best to respect and follow our laws. Do not try to be smart and think that you have your way.

The authorities are now monitoring this page and the users within. Many will be caught and penalised in the near future.
