Former Peace Centre/Peace Mansion A new upcoming mixed development at 1 Sophia Road Built in 1977, both Peace Centre and Peace Mansion at 1 Sophia Road were sold together for $650 million.

The property was purchased by the joint venture between CEL Development, SingHaiyi, and Ultra Infinity, to be redeveloped into a new mixed development. The development is within 1 km of the prestigious St Margaret's Primary School and 2 km of River Valley Primary School, St Joseph's Institution Junior, and Anglo-Chinese School Junior. It is located at the famous intersection of Sophia Road and Sel

egie Road. Other educational institutions including Singapore Management University (SMU), School of the Arts Singapore (SOTA), and LASELLE College of the Arts are also within the vicinity. There are six MRT stations located within a 600-meter radius of the Sophia Road site, including the nearest Bencoolen Station (DT21). Based on URA's planning outline, the future new launch at Sophia Road will be a new mixed development.
