This week quietly reminded me why I do what I do.
In a very slow market, two units were optioned.
One was sold within two days of viewings and above the seller’s expected price. It took careful, deliberate negotiation to patiently bridge low offers and align both parties. With effort on my part, and by Allah’s permission, we reached an outcome everyone felt comfortable and confident with.
The other unit was secured $16k below estimated market value. The buyer had just received his HFE on 19 January. From filtering through close to 50 available units to conducting viewings for five carefully shortlisted homes, we secured the right unit just four days later. It was a focused and time-sensitive search that required clarity, speed and thoughtful negotiation at every step.
I’m deeply grateful to the clients who chose to trust me, among many agents, to walk alongside them through such important decisions. These moments are never just transactions to me. They represent lives, timelines, and futures that deserve care and attention.
In the midst of work, my heart felt full in a completely different way. My eldest, turning 18 at the end of this year, flew an aircraft on his own for the very first time. His first solo flight, MasyaAllah! 🥹 He has been flying since last year, and watching him carry that responsibility so calmly was deeply humbling…and honestly, a little nerve-wrecking too.
This week reminded me that progress doesn’t always arrive loudly. Sometimes it unfolds quietly, in work that moves forward despite the odds, and in children who grow right before our eyes.
Grateful beyond words.
Alhamdulillah 🤍
