Having read this article, I agree to a certain extent, but not entirely.

From my work as a real estate agent, I know the points raised hold real value: building wealth, having financial stability, and making smart asset decisions are indeed meaningful milestones. Being financially successful gives you security, opens up opportunities, and lets you plan confidently for retirement and your family’s future, there is no denying that. In this sense, the article makes a valid and useful observation.

However, I believe success is far bigger than just money or assets. True success is a combination of many equally important parts:
✅ Good health! without it, you cannot enjoy any wealth you build
❤️ A happy, united family — the best reward to come home to

The latest HDB resale data is something all property buyers and sellers should pay close attention to. While a slight dip in prices isn’t necessarily alarming on its own, the bigger concern is the 10.2% drop in transaction volume compared to the same period last year. Fewer transactions often signal that buyers are becoming more cautious and sellers may need more time to secure the right offer.

The property market remains resilient, but we’re entering a phase where pricing expectations need to be more realistic. Serious sellers should focus on correct pricing rather than chasing yesterday’s market. At the same time, buyers shouldn’t assume prices will fall sharply, as demand for well-located and well-priced homes remains healthy.

Not every deal comes easy. After 6 months of marketing, we finally got it sold. ❤️

This journey wasn’t the easiest. There were moments of waiting, uncertainties, viewings after viewings, and times where things felt slow. But through it all, one thing that never changed was my client’s trust in me.
