Bayshore estate to launch first two batches of HDB BTO flats in 2024, likely to fall under Plus category. πŸ’πŸŽ‰

The first two batches of Housing and Development Board (HDB) Build-to-Order (BTO) flats in Bayshore estate will be launched in 2024, and are likely to fall under the Plus category for new flats.

Minister for National Development Desmond Lee said Bayshore is a likely candidate for Plus projects, given its attractive location and its comprehensive suite of amenities. πŸ“βœ¨

Huttons Asia’s senior director for data analytics, Lee Sze Teck, said the Bayshore area has been predominantly for private housing, so the demand for the first Plus flats in the area β€œis likely to be strong”, he added.

Bukit Merah flat sets new record sale price of S$1.45M!

Prices across the board have continued to be on the rise, especially for resale properties. Earlier this year, a buyer purchased a five-room flat in Bishan for S$1.43 million. A new sale for a five-room apartment in Bukit Merah has now eclipsed that amount, setting a new record for five-room units in the area. It exchanged hands for S$1.45 million and required no renovation works.

HDB resale flat prices maintain their climb in 3Q2023, but at a reduced pace. πŸ“ˆ

HDB resale flat prices continued their upward trajectory in 3Q2023, albeit at a slower pace. Flash estimates released by HDB on Oct 2 show that resale prices edged up 1.2% q-o-q in 3Q2023, marking a 14th consecutive quarter of growth. However, the increase in prices is lower than the 1.5% q-o-q growth recorded in 2Q2023 as well as the 2.5% average quarterly growth registered in 2022.
