At the start of this year, I entered 2026 with a very clear vision & direction for myself. I knew I wanted to do more than just closing transactions; to help homeowners & investors make strategic property decisions that could create long-term wealth & opportunities for their future.

&I’ve had the privilege of guiding clients on how to unlock the value of their existing homes, restructure their portfolios & move towards their next investment confidently without overstretching financially. Seeing this vision come to life after my recent EdgeProp feature & stepping up to conduct my very first public consumer seminar made this journey even more meaningful.

People who are close to me may have heard that I experienced burnout within the first 2 months of the year, something I only recently managed to recover from. With that, I’m ready to step into the second half of the year with a stronger purpose & renewed focus.

Behind every milestone are countless late nights, sacrifices, obstacles to overcome, moments of self-doubt but my commitment to keep showing up consistently even on the hard days.

This is more than just a number to me. It’s a reminder that when you start with clarity, purpose, consistency &with the right people around you, amazing things can happen.

It’s easy to assume consistency comes naturally at this level, but what often goes unseen is the constant cycle of reset, restart & relearning just to stay relevant, all while managing our own expectations.

The first half of 2025 came with a lot of self-doubt. I felt like I was plateauing, maybe even phasing out. It took a hit on my confidence.

The reality is, this industry offers a lot of flexibility, yet at the same time, it demands so much that it can quietly take over your life.

The turning point came when I realised that our biggest obstacle is often our own fear.

More than ever, I’m still doing what I love, staying grounded & continuing to push to better myself every single day, while being intentional about taking care of my physical & mental health. Can’t emphasize this enough, striking a balance is both tough but very much necessary ✨

My 3rd closing for this stack in 1 month.

Timing really is everything.

When I first met this client in January, the intention was simply to understand the market first. Their initial plan was to sell their condo 1–2 years later.

They reached out because they wanted clarity on timeline planning, especially when the market can feel quite confusing for homeowners navigating their next move.

After 2 in-depth sessions where we went through the market conditions, options & a clear timeline strategy, they realised they probably should have cashed out from their property one cycle earlier. That was when they decided to execute the plan now instead of waiting.

Once we identified the project they wanted to move on to, we proceeded with the marketing for their property. Within 3 open houses, we secured a good price for their sale.

There were a few hurdles along the way in terms of timeline coordination, but we managed to sort everything out just in time & to lock in the last available unit for their purchase.

Sometimes the biggest difference is not just the market, but having the clarity to act when the timing makes sense. 🏡✨

A year ago, this couple reached out to me from Canada to handle the sale of their investment property.

We coordinated fully over calls & messages despite the time difference. The first time we met face to face was only after they had relocated back to Singapore while we were executing the sale.

Since 2H last year, we’ve been going around viewing most of the launches in River Valley & Great World. After weighing all the factors carefully, they eventually decided to forgo one of their top criteria, proximity to specific schools & chose Holland instead for its tranquillity + overall environment that suited their family better.

Really thankful we managed to secure one of the last high floor 5 bedder overlooking the GCB enclave for them.

Biggest takeaway from this deal?

They shared that they appreciated how I kept them consistently updated on the market & acknowledged that last year was probably a better time to enter.

But end of the day, buying property isn’t just about price or timing. It’s a family decision.

Strategy matters. Numbers matter.
But sometimes what matters more is having consensus at home, where everyone feels comfortable & happy to move forward together.
