Hey everyone,

Just wanted to share a bit of a personal update with you all. Four years ago, I underwent a procedure to remove kidney stones from my left flank. Unfortunately, today I found myself facing a similar situation, but this time on the right side. The pain has been intense, easily reaching an 11/10 on the scale.

Reflecting on this experience, I can't help but attribute it to factors like inadequate water intake and perhaps certain dietary choices. It's a stark reminder that as we age, our bodies sometimes bring forth challenges we hadn't anticipated.

During this second bout with kidney stones, amidst the pain, my mind wandered to the 'what ifs'. What if something were to happen to me? What would become of my wife and children?

It's moments like these that underscore the importance of planning for the future. One thing I've been grateful for is having invested in property as part of our investment portfolio. Unlike shares or cryptocurrency, property provides a tangible asset, offering both shelter for my family and a steady income stream. Plus, its capital gains are more predictable, offering a sense of security even in uncertain times.

Just wanted to share this reminder with you all - investing in our future, be it health or financial stability, is crucial. Take care and stay well.
