I said I wanted to move closer to the city.

And honestly… it made sense.

Convenience.
Accessibility.
Lifestyle.

But the more I explored…
the more I started questioning that decision.

it’s not just about being near the city.

And that made me realise something.

Technically… yes.
But most buyers don’t see it that way.

• ~15–20 mins to town
• Within central region

But in the market?
It still feels far to many buyers.
And that matters more than most people realise.

Because in property:
People don’t buy based on maps.
They buy based on how a place feels.

Which affects:

• pricing
• and long-term value

So the real question isn’t: “Is this city fringe?”

It’s: “Will the market see it as one?”

Because in the end:

✔ own-stay comfort

Union (River Valley / CBD fringe):
✔ city access
✔ lifestyle convenience

And this is where most buyers get it wrong.
