In the heart of the Sembawang district lies Sun Plaza marking its spot with its striking yellow facade. The mall has been the essence of the north for a decade now and houses the only HDL hotpot ( Hai Di Lao ) in the north!

After closing in Aug 2018 for redevelopment works, the Sembawang Hot Spring Park reopened its doors to the public in January 2020.

Upon entering the park, one would be greeted by the floral walkway along with the sights of fruit trees such as rambutan and mango which are tributes to our kampong heritage.

Just before the cascading pools of the hot spring is the Sembawang eating house which is an air conditioned spot that includes an alfresco dining area.

As 1 of 2 hot springs found in Singapore , only the Sembawang Hotspring is accessible to the public as the other one is found at Pulau Tekong that is an offshore island used for military training!

At the cascading pools, there are four tiers of pools where the water will emerge at the top at 70 degrees and flows down to the final pool at 40 degrees.

There is also an egg cooking station so don’t forget to bring your eggs 🥚!

The best part about it is that the Sembawang Hotspring Park is only 5 minutes away from Sun plaza!
