No one can time the market, so the next best thing is to be in the market and let time do its work on your asset.

Are you waiting for the “crash”? When a government - like ours - they don’t not plan to maximise affordability! They want the ultimate - stability and predicabity in the property market. They openly share what their next 5-year plans through master plans, they curb excessive borrowing by reducing our loan to value, they promote prudency by subjecting us to TDSR… all these are measures to stabilise the property prices! And they curb property hoarding through progressive tax!

Tenure is another matrix that Singaporean holds close to their heart… anything freehold makes the property seems invincible, almost permanent…. But this permanence DOES not correlate to future behaviour…
