This guy came from a nearby fishing village to SingaporeโฆSomehow by twist and turns..he found work as a journalist..
One day, he mets a benefactor that appreciates his work, gives him a payraise..and buys him some clothes to take a photoshoot.
These pictures were taken by his very camera that were used to document life and news in the 1940s. The original was a black and white picture, but it was recolorised (if there is such a word) in the 1990s
