After almost 4 years, one of the first few tenancies I ever handled (after making the switch to ERA) comes to an end. I imagine it will always be a bittersweet feeling. Especially on handover day, to facilitate a smooth one ALWAYS comes with risks. Some agents simply deliver any ol' profile to the landlord, without much interaction, capitalising on their "fear of not being able to rent out quickly" - their fear of potentially stumbling on their monthly mortgages.. which then come back and bite them in the a$$ when tenancy reaches its tail end.

I thank God for His favor, for always sending the right tenants in my direction. For His strength on handling each client relationship, professionally, with both wisdom and discernment, indeed, has been a gift, from Him.

And even when they are not the most ideal, somehow He gives them a heart of accountability, or of pure character, the ability to take pride in this new house as their home, and leaving it just the way they found it.

10/10 would do this again.

Kudos to Singapore. One of the reasons our housing market has remained remarkably resilient is because we chose prudence early on: strict loan regulations, cooling measures, and safeguards that prevent excessive leverage. We have always chosen stability over speculation. Our financial system has even intentionally diversified its exposure rather than tying itself too tightly to the US Dollar. What may feel restrictive in the past have become the exact guardrails needed to keep the property market path safe. And that stability is often what allows opportunity to exist, in the long run.

I don't see anyone talking about how windy their unit at Lentor Modern is. I observe how not every landlord would be thoughtful enough to want to install a ceiling fan in the living room and bedrooms for their incoming tenants. I also notice that most of Lentor Modern's 2BR kitchen don't even come with a window. Neither do their study area.

This unit, will have ALL of the above.
