“Now no need to wait 15 months… HDB resale price will go up or not?” 🤔
This is one of the most common questions my clients are asking me now.
With more private property owners able to enter the HDB resale market earlier, naturally there may be more buyers competing for the same good units.
So, will HDB resale prices go up?
My honest answer: There may be upward pressure, especially for well-located, well-renovated and realistically priced units—but it doesn’t mean every HDB price will suddenly shoot up.
Price movement will still depend on:
🏠 Supply of available units
📍 Location and floor level
✨ Condition and renovation
💰 Asking price
👨👩👧 Number of genuine buyers competing
Client: “So must quickly buy now ah?” 😰
Me: “Plan quickly, yes. Panic quickly, no.” 😂
Whether you are selling, buying, upgrading or rightsizing, don’t make your decision based only on the headlines.
Understand your numbers, study the competition and plan your timeline properly.
