🔴 LATEST: Release by URA Figures for AUGUST 2021 New Homes.
✨ New private home sales eased up in August 2021 after a bounce back in sales in July. Last month, the property market had been weighed down by the Hungry Ghost Month and second round of Phase 2 Heightened Alert restrictions. Nonetheless, developers managed to sell more than 1,200 new homes (excluding Ecs).
The Watergardens at Canberra was the top-selling private residential project in the month, selling 60% of its total inventory as at the end of August. 🔴 Yesterday, URA released new data on the FEB 2021 New Homes.
New private home sales fell by 60.5% to 645 units from January to February mainly due to the lack of new launches. However, the lower sales figure does not imply that demand has slowed and PropNex expects sales volume to pick up in the months ahead.
