We are honoured to share that Keppel has been inducted into The Remarkables for Singapore Good Design, in recognition of our achievement of winning the SG Mark for over five consecutive years. This special honour is conferred by the Singapore Good Design (SG Mark) Awards Committee as part of the (Design Business Chamber Singapore) 40th Anniversary celebrations.

The award was presented by Mr Tharman Shanmugaratnam, President of the Republic of Singapore, together with Mr Hong Khai Seng, President of the Design Business Chamber Singapore and Chairman of the Singapore Good Design (SG Mark), and received by Mr Albert Foo, Managing Director for Property Development and Operations (Singapore) at Keppel’s Real Estate Division.

The SG Mark serves as a benchmark for exceptional design quality, spotlighting projects that enrich businesses, communities, and the wider built environment. It is not a competition, but a testament to designs that meet rigorous standards of functionality, innovation, and positive impact.

This recognition reflects the collective efforts of our teams, architects, consultants, and partners who have contributed to our design journey over the years.

A Heartwarming Day of Bowling and Brunch with Seniors

Keppel hosted 39 seniors from the Lions Befrienders’ Ghim Moh Centre for a fun-filled morning of bowling and brunch at the Bukit Batok Civil Service Club in late September 2025.

Led by Mr Louis Lim, Keppel’s CEO, Real Estate, 25 Keppel Volunteers from across our Divisions and Platforms came together to spread joy and connect meaningfully with the seniors.

It was wonderful to see familiar faces who had joined last year’s CSR activity — eager once again to stay active, make new friends and create more happy memories with Keppel. With encouragement from our volunteers, the seniors quickly picked up bowling skills, filling the alley with cheers, laughter and enthusiasm.

During the brunch that followed, Mr Lim shared,

“Keppel is always keen to help our seniors lead healthy and active lives — reflecting our commitment to uplifting and engaging the community.”

To mark the Mid-Autumn Festival, each senior also received a hand-crafted paper lantern made with love by our volunteers — a small gesture to share festive warmth.

Our senior guests shared their joy as well:

“The bowling game was well arranged. WONDERFUL! The Keppel staff were very helpful and gave us the best treatment all the way through.” – Mr Kamarsha Abu Kasim, 79

“Special thanks to the management and staff of Keppel for their time and effort in organising this wonderful outing. Their warm hospitality was truly memorable.” – Mr Leo Chin Soh, 68

A big thank you to all our Keppel Volunteers for your enthusiasm, teamwork and heart!

Last week, 35 Keppelites, led by Mr Louis Lim, Keppel’s CEO, Real Estate, rolled up their sleeves at West Coast Park to plant 100 trees together.

This marks another milestone in Keppel’s pledge to plant 10,000 trees over five years in Singapore, as part of NParks’ OneMillionTrees movement. To date, we have proudly planted more than 9,000 trees.

By nurturing endangered native species such as Seashore Ardisia, Hopbush and Mengkudu Laut, we are helping to restore ecological balance—one tree at a time.

Beyond planting saplings, Keppelites also planted hope for a greener future. Fun fact: 100 trees planted from an average species in Singapore can capture and store approximately 23.6 tonnes of CO₂ after 10 years!

A heartfelt thank you to all our Keppel Volunteers who joined us in this meaningful activity. Let’s continue to care for our environment, embrace sustainable living, and reduce our carbon footprint—for generations to come.
