Not the same as those in smaller scale the Gardens fired during mid-autumn festival or some events in the past, these are more spectacular that drew crowds and jammed the road . What adds to the excitement is the cracker noise as we are so near (600m) to it. Hope this will happen every year!

As many of us now work from home, (even if we don't) I wish all neighbors can quiet down to create a conducive living conditions for others, as there are around 10 units on every floor so we are quite closely packed.

We don't expect a "library standard" but certain kind and considerate controls on the volume of voices will be greatly appreciated especially if you prefer to leave your door open.

I was about to embark on a "cost cutting" DIY mission to mount a foldable chair on the wall beside my main door then decided that I should pay someone else to do it after I spent 20mins sweaty moments drilling one dia 10mm x 60mm depth hole and gave up when it was at 30mm depth. And there were 5 of them to drill!

Allan came, took 1 minute for each hole with his professional tools. After all, it was not exactly smooth sailing with this installation (long story short) but Allan was helpful to go with me to hardware shop and also came back the next day to complete the work without charging me additional.

His rate is totally affordable (less than half of one blood sucker who quoted me $130) because he stays just 3 streets away, OMO, and would cycle here whenever you need him.

That's the kind of handyman I need.

Dear Dog Owners,

Anyone else who doesn't own dogs will not like dog barking but will tolerate occasional barking noises around the estate since most of us are not fussy and yearn for harmonious living. Noises come and go but not these ugly patches that greet your eyes at every corner of our estate!

Now with this memo issued by the management for many times already, can dog owners please walk your dog outside of the estate to p*e and poo. Although you make it a point to pick the poo (which we appreciate!) but you can't do anything to the urine and it is causing permanent and devastating damages around our estate on the grass turf that make up our beautiful landscape!

What does it cost us? Our maintenance costs will shoot up to repair these for sure, all because of dog's urine left by dogs at dog owners' convenience but at all others' expense.

Besides security officers who will be prowIing more often to stop this act, I hope all of us can also keep a lookout to remind dog owners not to let their dogs p*e in the estate.

Let's do this together to make our estate a great place to live!

I realised it will take quite a walk to the Arrival Court from Blk 6 where my unit is as there ain't any shortcuts due to the layout. But it is quite a breeze to use the side gate from Blk 6 though - via B1 carpark!
