Tan Boon Liat Building in Outram up for sale again at lower S$1 billion reserve price

Freehold Tan Boon Liat Building has been put up for collective sale again at a lower reserve price of S$1 billion, about 13 per cent below the reserve price listed in the previous attempt. The 15-storey building was first launched in February 2025 with a reserve price of S$1.15 billion. The site drew expressions of interest, but ultimately closed without a deal.

Nature Society Singapore proposes keeping a third of Paya Lebar redevelopment space as green areas

The Nature Society Singapore (NSS) is proposing that almost a third of the vegetation in and around Paya Lebar Air Base be retained as green spaces, ahead of redevelopment of the area set to begin in the 2030s. The Straits Times has learnt that the society submitted a report to the Urban Redevelopment Authority (URA) detailing its proposal to retain 389ha of land in the area, which comprises forest, parkland and water bodies.

Private home resale transactions rose 1.6% month-on-month to 1,109 units in September.

Despite falling prices, the resale volume of local private homes in September rose 1.6% month-on-month to 1,109 units. Estimated data released by real estate website 99.co and SRX on Tuesday (October 28) showed that overall resale prices of private homes fell 1% month-on-month in September.

HarbourFront Centre to close in second half of 2026 for makeover into 33-storey mixed-use building

HarbourFront Centre is set to close in the second half of 2026 for a makeover that will see it redeveloped into a mixed-use building with an elevated park. The new 33-storey building comprising office and retail spaces is expected to be completed by the first half of 2031.
