Recently received two reviews… and honestly, they look like they’re competing with each other.
Not on rating — thankfully both are kind.
But on length. 😄
I’m not sure if I should feel proud… or slightly worried for the next one.
Jokes aside, reading through them made me pause and reflect.
Because if I’m being honest — I wasn’t always like this.
There was a time earlier in my journey where I was focused on getting things done, closing deals, moving fast.
Skills were still developing. Knowledge was still building.
But over the years, something shifted.
As I grew in experience and understanding of the market, I also found myself going back to something much simpler —
the foundation of this work.
To serve.
To guide.
To help people make informed decisions, especially in something as significant as property.
Not just what can be done, but what should be done.
One quote that has always stayed with me:
“We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence, then, is not an act, but a habit.” — Aristotle
And another that resonates deeply in this line of work:
“Try not to become a person of success, but rather try to become a person of value.” — Albert Einstein
These reviews are not just testimonials.
They are reminders — of the standard I need to uphold, and the responsibility that comes with it.
Still a long way to go.
Still many areas to improve — in knowledge, communication, strategy, and even patience.
But if there’s one thing I hope to continue refining,
it is this:
To serve with clarity, honesty, and intention —
every single time.
