Will HDB prices go up because the 15-month wait-out period is gone? 👀

That’s the question everyone is asking.

But I think there’s a bigger question.

For many homeowners, this change could mean no more renting just to wait, no unnecessary double moves, and more flexibility to right-size when the timing makes sense.

Could certain resale HDBs see stronger demand? Possibly.

But perhaps the biggest impact isn’t price.

It’s choice.

Very different financial commitment.

🏢 3-bedroom condo: ~$7,300/month

That’s roughly $5,200 more every month.

For some families, the condo may still make sense.
