Today, more people are travelling than ever before, with international tourist arrivals increasing from 25 million in the 1950s to 1.2 billion in 2016. The facility of travel combined with the growth of middle class in emerging markets, such as China, Indonesia, Malaysia have multiplied the number of outbound tourists from these countries. But South-East Asia is not only becoming a larger source market. It also attracts more and more tourists, as south-to-south tourism installs as a durable trend.
