Government moves to cool EC prices!

🚨 BIG CHANGES to the EC market.

Government has just:
❌ Removed Deferred Payment Scheme (DPS)
❌ Extended EC MOP from 5 years to 10 years
✅ Increased first-timer quota

This is a major move that could reshape the EC market moving forward.

The bigger question now is:
👉 Will EC prices finally cool down?
👉 Or will future buyers become even more cautious?

📉 With the latest HDB Resale Price Index showing its first quarterly decline in nearly 7 years, the market today has definitely changed.

Buyers are more cautious and have more options to choose from. Many sellers are starting to face challenges moving their units. 😓

Yet despite this, I’m pleased to have helped my clients successfully sell their Punggol HDB within just 3 weeks allowing them to move forward with their upgrading plans.
