Over the years, I've asked many homeowners one simple question:
"What's your biggest property regret?"
I expected answers like:
❌ Buying the wrong home.
❌ Renovating too much.
❌ Selling too early.
But one answer came up the most:
"I should have bought earlier."
Not because they wanted to get rich.
They were simply waiting...
For lower prices.
For lower interest rates.
For more certainty.
For the "perfect" timing.
Then life happened.
One year became three.
Three became five.
And when they were finally ready, the home they wanted had moved further out of reach.
One homeowner told me:
«"I wasn't priced out by the market. I delayed myself."»
That has stayed with me ever since.
This doesn't mean everyone should buy immediately.
Buy only when you're financially ready and the property fits your long-term plans.
But if you've already decided you want to own a home someday, ask yourself:
Are you waiting because you're not ready... or because you're waiting for perfect certainty?
