"Should I only buy freehold?"

It's one of the most common questions I get from buyers.
The reality is that freehold isn't automatically the better option for every buyer.

In Singapore, tenure is just one of many factors buyers consider. Location, connectivity, amenities, budget and long-term goals all play an important role in choosing the right property.

Freehold offers advantages for long-term ownership and has no lease expiry, but it often comes with a higher purchase price. Depending on your goals and priorities, a well-located 99-year leasehold property can also be an excellent option.

The better question is:
Which property best supports your financial goals, timeline and lifestyle?

Every buyer's situation is different, which is why I always recommend looking at the full picture before making a decision.
