With a 6-figure outstanding loan and high CPF usage, their sale would result in a negative sale. But after carefully going through their numbers, we found another way forward without having to compromise on their next home.

Sometimes, the best move is to wait.

My clients wanted to rightsize from their 4-room to a 3-room flat. But after going through their numbers, their sale would result in a negative sale with no cash proceeds for retirement.

Instead of rushing to sell, I advised them to wait until the husband turned 55. They trusted the plan and waited almost a year before we finally proceeded.

Alhamdulillah, we sold their home, secured their next 3-room flat, and what initially looked like a negative sale ended with six-figure cash proceeds for their retirement.
