One of the most encouraging testimonials in real estate does not come in words.
It comes in the form of returning clients, apart from referrals.
Six years ago, I met this couple through a marriage preparatory course where I was invited to speak. Their original plan was a BTO, but circumstances led them to purchase a resale flat instead.
Together, we secured a high-floor unit with an unblocked view, great amenities, walking distance to the park and train station, and a good school nearby. It was an excellent buy as they even got pre-loved white goods as part of the purchase.
Fast forward seven years... now parents to two adorable children, they remembered the plan and strategy we had discussed all these years.
While many resale flat owners are seeing little to no gains today, they managed to exit with a healthy profit because they bought well, and planned ahead.
With lease decay and accrued interest in mind, they reached out at the right time. We successfully sold their resale flat and they are now moving on to a brand-new BTO.
Nothing makes me happier than seeing a plan come together years later.
No matter your situation, having a plan matters. The right property is important. But having the right roadmap for asset progression is what makes all the difference.
Best part? Only in their late 30s and early 40s... and debt-free retirement through property unlocked!
