One of the most encouraging testimonials in real estate does not come in words.

It comes in the form of returning clients, apart from referrals.

Six years ago, I met this couple through a marriage preparatory course where I was invited to speak. Their original plan was a BTO, but circumstances led them to purchase a resale flat instead.

Together, we secured a high-floor unit with an unblocked view, great amenities, walking distance to the park and train station, and a good school nearby. It was an excellent buy as they even got pre-loved white goods as part of the purchase.

Fast forward seven years... now parents to two adorable children, they remembered the plan and strategy we had discussed all these years.

While many resale flat owners are seeing little to no gains today, they managed to exit with a healthy profit because they bought well, and planned ahead.

With lease decay and accrued interest in mind, they reached out at the right time. We successfully sold their resale flat and they are now moving on to a brand-new BTO.

Nothing makes me happier than seeing a plan come together years later.

No matter your situation, having a plan matters. The right property is important. But having the right roadmap for asset progression is what makes all the difference.

Best part? Only in their late 30s and early 40s... and debt-free retirement through property unlocked!

This video was put together about two months ago, and I had completely forgotten about it. Past weeks, as always, have been filled with serving clients. And this remains the priority.

Eidul Adha is about Sacrifice and Submission.🤍

Our small family felt there was no better way to spend Eidul Adha than visiting our beloved elders and the great teachers of our teachers. For they are among those who displayed sacrifices and submission so great for us to learn from, in line with the beautiful example portrayed by Prophet Ibrahim a.s.

Today reminds us that true faith is not only in what we say, but in what we are willing to surrender for the sake of Allah.

Sometimes, the sacrifice is not just wealth or comfort. Sometimes, it is our ego, our plans, our pride, our need to control everything.

Eidul Adha teaches us to trust Allah’s wisdom, even when the path is difficult.

May this Eid soften our hearts, strengthen our faith, and bring us closer to sincere submission.

Some buyers really create a lasting impact. Questions are sharp, expectations are high, and negotiations can feel intense. But sometimes, beneath that toughness, is simply someone trying their best to protect their family, finances, and future.

I experienced this with Mdm BH. And it reminded me of something important.

In real estate, being too quick to judge can cost us the opportunity to build trust. Every party carries different fears, experiences, and priorities. Sometimes, all a situation needs is patience, understanding, and time for all sides to truly hear each other.

When buyers, sellers, and agents choose to work as a team instead of against one another, win-win outcomes become possible.

Lesson learnt: Not every difficult encounter is a bad one. Some just need a little more time to unfold beautifully. And for others, the real need to seek understanding.

End result for Mdm BH? A happy ending for all parties involved. Happy buyer and happy sellers.
