BREAKING NEWS ‼️!

Relaxed some property cooling measures with effect from 11th March 2017.

1) The Sellers' Stamp Duty (SSD) period will be REDUCED to 3 years, from 4 years.

2) The SSD rates will be REDUCED to:
1st year - 12%
2nd year - 8%
3rd year - 4%
4th year onwards - 0%

3) The Total Debt Service Ratio (TDSR) framework will be WAIVED for mortgage equity loans with loan-to-value ratios of 50% and below.

SINGAPORE - The Government has relaxed some residential property measures relating to the sellers' stamp duty (SSD) as well as the total debt servicing ratio framework (TDSR). The new rules take effect from March 11.. Read more at straitstimes.com.
