Interest rate is the talk of the town now.

Some may be thinking to yourself that a spike in interest rate may cause a market correction. I beg to differ and would like to share this video.

It is a bit longer than I intended, nonetheless I hope it provides you with a perspective to view the market.

If you are unable to finish watching the video, just know that interest rate has little to no correlation to Property Price Index. Whether it hikes or not, PPI continues to show strength.

Historically, interest rates fluctuation last between 2 โ€“ 2.5 years and will eventually settle down to a comfortable level as inflation tapers into the desired range.

From data we expect the interest rate to peak in 2023 and starts to gradually descend which offers an opportunity for new launch ownership now.

So, what is your thought on rising interest rates?

o Will it cause a market correction?
o It will not cause a market correction.
o Donโ€™t know. Wait and see.
