SINGAPORE: Prices of executive condominiums (ECs) have almost doubled in the last decade, but they remain popular, analysts said.

Prices have risen in tandem with the rest of the property market, market observers told CNA, citing the increase in costs for land, construction and labour as reasons.

The latest executive condominium (EC) project in Bukit Batok, Lumina Grand, saw about 70 per cent of its units sold within a month of sales.

SINGAPORE: More than 5,500 Sale of Balance Flats (SBF) units will be offered in February 2025, the Housing and Development Board (HDB) said on Friday (Oct 25).

This represents the largest SBF exercise, according to HDB, with about four in 10 to be completed units, while the remaining units will be completed progressively from 2025 to 2028.

HDB resale prices in the third quarter of 2024 increased by 2.7 per cent, while transactions rose by 10.7 per cent.

SINGAPORE: Housing and Development Board (HDB) flats prices rose 2.3 percent in the second quarter of 2024, an increase from the 1.8 per cent rise seen in the previous quarter.

The Resale Price Index (RPI) for the second quarter of 2024 is 187.9, up from 183.7 in the previous quarter, according to data released by HDB on Friday (Jul 26).

SINGAPORE: Private home prices in Singapore rose 1.4 per cent in the first quarter of 2024, down from the 2.8 per cent in the previous quarter, according to figures released by the Urban Redevelopment Authority (URA) on Friday (Apr 26).

Noting that this was the slowest quarterly gain since the third quarter of 2021, one analyst said this was an indication of "stability" in the housing market.

SINGAPORE: Prices of Housing Board (HDB) resale flats rose by 2.1 per cent in the second quarter of 2024, higher than the 1.8 per cent growth in the previous quarter.

Flash estimates released by HDB on Monday (Jul 1) showed that the Q2 resale volume up to Jun 27 was 7,208 - 14.5 per cent higher than 6,297 transactions in the same period last year.

Analysts expect the HDB resale market to remain robust in the second half of 2024 and for home buying momentum to pick up in the private housing market.
