A real estate purchase is easily, for most of us, the biggest financial commitment we undertake in our lifetime. Mortgage loans help to make that acquisition more attainable with financing options. Interest cost is one of the largest expenses associated with a property purchase. Therefore, seeking the best in-market financing terms and being able to constantly calibrate your loan portfolio to keep interest costs in check is key in achieving savings.

Your lock-in period is ending soon. Before you refinance or sell, take a look at your letter of offer and check if it has a clawback clause.

When you took the loan, your bank may have subsidised the legal or valuation fees for you. If you exit before the lock-in period ends, they can ask for that money back, especially when the clawback period could be longer than your lock-in period.

Not sure if you are bounded to any clawback period? Send us your letter of offer and we'll check it for you.

SORA ticked up this month after sitting near record lows for most of the year. If you're still on a rate above 2%, that gap between what you're paying and what's actually available is only getting more expensive to ignore.

Comment "COMPARE" and we'll send you the link to the best refinancing packages.
