📈NEW IN: Urban Redevelopment Authority (URA) has released the new private home sales data 📊for May 2023.
Developers launched a total of 1,595 units and sold 1,038 units (excluding ECs) 🏬 in May. New property launches continue to exhibit favorable performance despite the cooling measures. Statistics show that new private home sales excluding ECs have seen an increase in sales by 17% as compared to April 2023. With ECs included, overall private home sales volume also increased by 16.1% 📈 on a month-to-month basis.
When compared on a year-on-year basis, sales volume decreased by 23.4% (excluding ECs) and 23.3% (including ECs) respectively.
🟠Private developments located on the RCR make up most of the sales in the sector this month with 847 units sold, accounting for more than half the total private home sales at 81.6%. Sales in the CCR and OCR accounted for 14.6% and 3.8% respectively.
The three most popular projects for the month of May are The Reserve Residences, The Continuum, and The Landmark.
The Reserve Residences, District 21's multi-use development with an integrated transport hub, is currently the best-selling project for 2023 with a median price of $2,461psf - achieving the highest launch weekend sales since Normanton Park.
