Through a segment I never thought possible, I actually got to meet someone I never thought I could, together with 𝗣𝗥𝗢𝗣𝗘𝗥𝗧𝗬 𝗡𝗘𝗫𝗨𝗦 𝗝𝗕

It was simple genuine casual chat, but I've learnt so much from a business owner, who's humble and genuine. Honestly, I realized I can also apply that to my own real estate career.

This real estate business is also a business that I have to take charge of myself, that I have to give it my all. There's never always going up, there will be days that are downs. But what's important is that you learn to pick yourself up, be clear of your focus and move on. 💪🏻

Went through a really powerful segment today, and I realised something I never really thought about before…

I have a different purpose in life now.

For the longest time, I was used to having a stable job. Then I made the decision to leave that behind and become self-employed.

I was blessed to have a supportive family through that transition. I’ve always been independent — but I never really had people depending on me.

Today, I realised how different it feels when you have people you care about depending on you.

We had a challenge where I lost two rounds.

Going into the final round, I knew I was probably one of the weaker people in the ring. But this time, it wasn’t just about me.

I had a team depending on me.

Everything was at stake.

So I went all out.

Not because I suddenly became the strongest person in the room, but because I had a reason to give everything I had.

And somehow… I won.

It reminded me that sometimes, determination doesn’t come from wanting to prove that you’re the best.

It comes from knowing who you’re fighting for.

Maybe that’s something I didn’t know I needed in this chapter of my life.

To have people I love become my reason to push harder, go further, and do my best — even when I don’t think I’m the strongest one in the room.

After a fun segment, I actually realized that… sales can be REALLY fun

We always talk about sales like it’s all about numbers, targets, leads and closing deals.

But sometimes, it’s about the experience.

The conversations.
The energy.
The little challenges.
The teamwork.
And yes… even the ridiculous moments that somehow make you better at selling. 😁

Today’s PropNex Experience Boot Camp PropNeXperience reminded me that sales doesn’t always have to feel so serious.

When you enjoy the process, you show up differently, you communicate differently.
And I think… you sell differently too.

Definitely still got lots to learn, but walking away with a fresh perspective — and a few more reasons to enjoy this journey 🫶🏻

A thought came to my mind recently with all the new launches happening.

"Ground floor ah? I'll pass."

"Noisy", "people can look inside", " pests".. recently for some developments, some even told me "later got monkeys" 🐒 HAHAHA (for real)

Now these are valid concerns, especially if you're here to stay. But what I also realized, are that there's also a group of people who love the ground floor.
- Pet friendly
- Easy for elderly
- Private patio and more

And for investors — you'll be happy to know that the ground floor doesn't mean bad potential growth. A quick look at the % growth from Q1 2016 to Q1 2026, you'll be surprised that the ground floor has got the highest percentage growth!

So before you reject the ground floor immediately, rethink again on the purpose of your purchase. Don't just avoid it because everyone else says so!

So question of the day: high floor vs low floor, would you pay more just to live higher?
