Fewer New Condo Launches Expected in 2026 — More Units in the Suburbs

The Straits Times reports that Singapore will see significantly fewer private condo launches in 2026, following the surge of new home sales in 2025.
• New launches (excluding ECs) expected to drop from 26 projects in 2025 to 17 in 2026
• Total new units may fall by 29%, from about 11,430 to 8,113

🌳 Where will the new projects be?
Most 2026 launches will be in the suburban areas, including Tengah, Tampines, Bayshore and Lakeside.
The city fringe will have 4 launches, while the core central region will see only one.
