*INVITATION TO THE FESTIVAL OF BIODIVERSITY AT NATIONAL LIBRARY ON 6 AND 7 JUNE 2026*

The National Parks Board (NParks) would like to invite the community to the Festival of Biodiversity (FoB) 2026, held on 6 and 7 June 2026, 10.00am to 7.30pm, at the Plaza, National Library Building.

2 The Festival of Biodiversity is an annual celebration of the community's efforts to conserve Singapore's natural heritage. It aims to engage the wider community and raise public awareness about Singapore's biodiversity, and promote active stewardship. It is jointly organised by NParks and the Biodiversity Roundtable, comprising about 30 representatives from non-governmental organisations, nature interest groups, schools, and other organisations. FoB 2026 will feature 36 booths by NParks and partner organisations, 11 spotlight talks, and 10 workshops for adults and children.

4 FoB 2026 provides an opportunity for attendees to interact with members of the nature community and students/youth stewards active in the local environment scene, as well as keep updated on biodiversity conservation initiatives. There will also be opportunities to learn about conservation programmes and initiatives spearheaded by the various stakeholders. There are also many educational activities for families and children to complete at the festival. NParks is also collaborating with the National Library Board (NLB) to promote biodiversity conservation to the community through book recommendations, displays at the library, and engaging quizzes at game stations visitors can look forward to.
