A productive and rewarding business mission to Chengdu last week.
We engaged with Chinese enterprises and industry associations through focused exchanges, exploring Southeast Asia’s growing role as a strategic expansion destination.
Key discussions included Malaysia’s investment landscape and competitive advantages, industrial park ecosystems and infrastructure readiness, legal compliance and investment structuring, banking and cross-border financial solutions, as well as opportunities and challenges for Chinese F&B brands entering Malaysia in 2026. We also discussed leveraging Malaysia as a gateway to the global halal market, alongside halal certification and industry growth opportunities.
We were encouraged by strong interest from companies across sectors including F&B, infocomm, data centres, advanced technology, traditional Chinese medicine, semiconductors and more.
As a Malaysian developer of integrated industrial parks, EcoWorld remains committed to supporting businesses with ready infrastructure, strategic connectivity, and a conducive ecosystem for sustainable growth.
We look forward to building meaningful partnerships and supporting more companies on their international expansion journey.
