Yesterday was another day of rejections for me.

Went doorknocking and spent 10–20 mins talking to people, only for them to eventually say they’d reach out to their own agents if they had further questions. A few times.

Then I went home and found out the tenant I was trying to finalise for my rental chose another unit instead. Second time this rental deal burst.

It reminded me of something I wanted to share.

Real estate is probably one of the most social jobs around - prospecting to hundreds of people - but at the same time, one of the loneliest jobs too.

You face rejection almost daily, and sometimes even people who were friendly before start treating you differently once you put on the badge.

That’s probably the part people don’t really see behind this industry.

Still learning how to deal with it myself, but just wanted to share something real today.

New home sales remained strong in April, with 1,548 units sold, a 19.1% increase from March.

The OCR continued to lead demand, driven by strong take-up at Tengah Garden Residences and Vela Bay, with Vela Bay selling 72% of its units at launch.
Buyer confidence also remains resilient, especially for projects with strong value and location appeal.

ABSD on second property? There’s actually a way out if it’s a matrimonial home situation.

Many buyers don’t realise ABSD remission may apply when the property is held as a matrimonial home and certain conditions are met.

It’s not automatic, and timing + ownership structure matters more than most people think.
