SINGAPORE (EDGEPROP) - The most profitable resale deal in the week of April 19 to 26 was the sale of a 1,518 sq ft, freehold four-bedroom apartment at The Sea View. It changed hands for $3.3 million ($2,150 psf) on April 21. The fourth-floor apartment was initially purchased for $1.1 million ($735 psf) in November 2006. Thus, the seller reaped a profit of $2.1 million (193%), translating to a 7.2% annualised profit over a period of 15½ years.

SINGAPORE (EDGEPROP) - The most profitable resale transaction during the week of April 5 to 12 was the sale of a 1,755 sq ft, three-bedroom unit at Botanic Gardens View. The ninth-floor unit changed hands for $3.75 million ($2,137 psf) on April 7. The property had been purchased for $879,255 ($501 psf) in July 1998. As a result, the seller earned a profit of $2.87 million (327%), which translates to an annualised profit of 6.3% over 23½ years.

The 1,755 sq ft unit at Botanic Gardens View changed hands for $3.75 million ($2,137 psf) on April 7.

Jewel of Balmoral hit a new psf price high when a 1,346 sq ft unit changed hands for $2.96 million or $2,200 psf on Feb 18. The unit sold was a three-bedroom apartment on the seventh floor. It was previously acquired for $2.02 million, or $1,501 psf in August 2016.

The seller of a unit at Island View, along Jalan Mat Jambol in Pasir Panjang, made the top gain of $3.19 million over the week of Feb 16 to 22. The 3,498 sq ft unit on the second floor was bought for $1.9 million ($543 psf) in February 2007 and sold for $5.09 million ($1,455 psf) on Feb 17. The seller therefore made a 168% profit, or an annualised profit of 7% over 15 years.
