The HFE letter informs HDB buyers of their eligibility for purchasing a new or resale flat, the CPF housing grants available to them, and their qualification for an HDB housing loan.

The HFE letter replaces the HDB Loan Eligibility letter to simplify and clarify the flat-buying process.
