Congratulations to our Slovenia Green label recipients. 💚

Yesterday, Slovenia announced the holders of the Slovenia Green label for accommodation. Ten of our members made the list.

Chalet Astra Montana / Hotel Lipa / Nebesa Chalets / Sunrose 7 / Hiša Linhart / Triangel Boutique Hotel / Zlata Ladjica / Sibon Resort / Vila Muhr / Vila Vita

The Slovenia Green label isn’t handed out for good intentions. You need an internationally recognized sustainability certification first (EU Ecolabel, Green Key, Travelife, and others). Then you sign the Green Commitment and adopt 10 Sustainability Principles. Then you prove you’re actually living by them.

Our members didn’t change what they do to get this label. They got the label because of what they’ve been doing all along... sourcing locally, managing resources carefully, respecting the environment that guests come to experience, running their properties like they plan to pass them on to the next generation.

Boutique hospitality and sustainability aren’t opposites. When you’re small, when your name is on the door, when you live where you work, you can’t afford to waste or damage what you have. It’s not a marketing strategy. It’s how you survive.

So yeah, we’re proud. Ten members certified green in a country that takes green seriously. Not because they had to, but because it’s how they’ve always operated.

Congratulations to all of you. The label just made official what your guests already knew.
