'Hisa nad Bačo' is situated in the peaceful and delightful village of Podmelec, a quaint and historic location in the Baska Grapa / Goriska regions. The house benefits from a central and commanding position in the village, with local roads either side leading to Klavze and Tolmin respectively. It has 2 bedrooms (1 king sized double bedroom, a twin bedded room and a convertible futon sofa in the lounge), exposed beams and a wood burning stove, which leads to the dining room for 6 persons. There is a luxury bathroom with separate shower and bath and also a cloakroom upstairs. It has a large sunny first floor balcony and is luxuriously appointed internally following an extensive period of restoration and modernisation. The location of Podmelec and the surrounding areas can only be described as magical, unspoilt and pristine. Wildlife and a variety of outdoor attractions and activities are abundant close by, in particular; paragliding, cycling, mountain biking, trekking, bird watching and hunting. The village itself is situated above the Baca River, an established and popular fly fishing destination (the Idrijca and Soca rivers are also close by). The Slap Sopota waterfall (66m) is within walking distance of the village. The edge of the Triglav National Park can be reached within a 15 minute drive time. Convenience stores and shops are available close by in both Tolmin and Most na Soci. The house is available at the following rates;
