Guoji Group Introduction

Henan Guoji Group was founded in October 1994, which was originally called No. 5 Construction and Installation Company in Jinshui District, Zhengzhou, then changed to Henan Guoji Construction and Installation Company. It is an international corporation mainly engaged in construction and installation, real estate development and overseas development, supplemented with large-scale property management, greening and landscaping, project decoration. There are many subsidiaries, such as Henan Guoji Property Co., Ltd.( founded in 1995), Henan Guoji Decoration Engineering Co., LTD. (founded in 1995), Henan Kanglv Garden Greening Co., Ltd.(founded in 1996), Henan Guoji Construction Group Co., Ltd.(founded in 1997),Henan Guoji Property Management Co., Ltd. (founded in 2001),Henan Guoji Industry Group Co., Ltd. (founded in 2003). The group has 36 domestic branches and 13 overseas subsidiaries. Henan Guoji owns the National Premier Class Certification for House Construction and General Contracting and the qualification for overseas projects contracting, and ranks the 29th among the Top 100 construction companies in China. We are awarded Luban Award for the Engineering Projects in China (for national projects with superior quality) for many times. Over the years, Henan Guoji has maintained rapid development momentum and has become a big company that “With Brand Value as Support, Housing Construction as the Basis and Matched with Diversified Businesses ”, making great achievement in the field of real estate development and engineering construction. With the development and construction of a series of remarkable and large-scale house buildings and municipal engineering facilities, Henan Guoji has won good reputation in the construction industry.

Domestically, Henan Guoji has successively undertook the construction of some large scale projects, such as Cyberport of Henan Science and Technology Market, Chuang- Tzu Cultural Center, Beijing-Guangzhou Expressway, Shenglong Plaza in front of Zhengzhou High Speed Railway Station, Shengrun Jinxiu Community(600,000 ㎡), Resettlement Project in the East New District of Zhengzhou (2,600,000㎡), Huijin Center (208 m) at Fuzhou, Fusheng Qianlong Plaza (218 m) at Fuzhou, Huijin Center (the main building is 300 m high) at Nanjing. The company also invested and developed many estate projects, such as Jiahe Garden, Jiarui Garden, Jiaxiu Garden, Jiahewanshi Garden, Jiatianxia Garden, Yellow River Mansion Community, Yufu No.3 Garden, Garden SOHO, Zhengzhou North College Community, Zhongyuan Senba Ecotourism Zone,Guoji Central Plain Printing and Packaging Industrial Park, Guoji Central Kitchen Industrial Park, Flavor Street for Cultural Oriented Travel at Hebi City, Urban Village Renovation, etc.

Meantime, Henan Guoji responded to the national call of Going Out, and marched into the African market early in 2003. In 2009, Henan Guoji took the lead to cooperate with China-Africa Development Fund and established a Joint Venture in Singapore so as to complement each other and develop the African market jointly.

Presently, Henan Guoji’s overseas business concentrates on two models:

One is the model of Industry and Trade Zone, which provides a platform for enterprises involved in foreign trade. Henan Guoji set up Sierra Leone Guoji Industry and Trade Zone through cooperating with the Sierra Leone Government in 2003, which provides rent incentive, favorable polices and relevant services to the enterprises in the Zone. Inspired by this model, relevant government department in China set up the Economic Cooperation Zone in Africa.

The other model is that the company brought up the solution plan for addressing the housing deficit issue of the African civil servants in 2011, and signed cooperation agreements with the Governments of Mozambique, Zambia, Uganda, Zimbabwe, Malawi consecutively. The local government will provide the land to solve the housing issues of the relating groups. For development model, Guoji brought up the development idea of Community Changes City. Aimed at the civil servants, guided by the Government, cooperated with the local financial institutions, combined with the local situations, making use of the favorable policies as well as Henan Guoji’s strengths, the house cost will be reduced to meet the local housing need.

Henan Guoji’s Civil Servant Housing Project in Africa aims at bettering the living conditions and environment of the local civil servants, which helps to boost the work morale of civil servants and beautify the image of local government. It is a political project which is beneficial to both the country and its people, thus the governments of different African countries pay high attention to it. All of the above mentioned projects in Mozambique, Sierra Leone and Zambia, Malawi, Uganda，Zimbabwe have been launched successfully, which illustrates that the project development model is prospective and in complete accordance with the local environment.
