SkyHigh TV is a Dutch independent production company who produce TV programs for the public and commercial TV stations. This team travelled to Suriname to film a big Surinamese family, the family Baumgard counting 14 members.Samantha (41) and Eugene (48) Baumgard from The Hague have 7 girls and 6 boys (wow). The eldest child is 22 and the youngest has just been born. Must be a fascinating real-life program to watch about 'life'. The Kaikoesi Apartments team is looking forward to watch this program online, of course we will share when it airs.We just wanted to share.

3 years ago when we started landscaping our garden we wanted to make it 1. tropical and of course 2. beautiful. We believe that Beauty comes from the inside, further we believe that everything will blossom in life if there is good intent (a sustained unbroken commitment or purpose for a good cause). So, 3 years ago we started our search in Paramaribo for places where we could buy flowers, plants and trees for our garden. The first address we found was fortunately located in the same street as we are, 'the Kaikoesistraat'. The name of the place is Wi Oso (translation: Our House). Wi Oso is the only organization in Suriname who guides young people (age 18-35) with a disability to an independent life by learning and working courses. First time we visited Wi Oso, we were surprised by the diversity and the amount of green and colorful flowers, plants and trees for sale. Further, we were impressed by the high customer service given (many bright smiles) from the young person’s working there and at last we had instant admiration for Mrs.Brunings (a Surinamese Power Woman who has and still devotes all of her time to the organization).

Kaikoesi Apartments is a loyal customer to Wi Oso, 90% of the flowers, plants and trees in our tropical garden were bought there. We just wanted to share, recommend and okay we admit actually urge YOU to support Wi Oso by buying their flowers, plants or trees.
