Venue: Juba Basketball Stadium, located in Nimra Talata adjacent to the Ministry of Mining.

We will be honored to have you joining us for this special occasion where we will celebrate and showcase the rich cultural heritage of our region. Your presence will greatly enrich the event, and we look forward to welcoming you.

Regional order from the chairperson of Upper Nile Region Youth Union Mr. Kiir Ngor Deng for the formation of resources mobilization committee for conducting Upper Nile Region cultural event.
As the leadership plans to conduct cultural event that aim at bringing together different cultural groups from the Upper Nile Region as part of the union's objective to promote peace and unity among the people of the Upper Nile Region, below is the list of the committee that will mobilise resources to conduct the planned cultural event.

Christmas Message

Dear All People of Upper Nile Region,

In the spirit of Christmas, let us come together to celebrate the joy of season and express our gratitude for the remarkable individuals who make a beacon of hope, forgiveness, success and healing in our Communities across our region of Upper Nile and South Sudan at Large.

On behalf of the entire Youth of Upper Nile Region and on my own behalf,I deeply express my heartfelt appreciations for your support, commitment and services offered to the people of Upper Nile Region during this year, and wishing you a wonderful Christmas Eve.

Importantly, I pass my best wishes to our leaders from different angles of life who always impacts and touches our lives for the betterment of ourselves and future generations. In fact, you are always our compass for the prosperous , peaceful and great country in making.

On this matter, I take this chance to appeal to all citizens/people of Upper Nile Region especially the leaders from different walks of life to come together , make peace among themselves, recall the good things of the past, take appropriate action for the goodness of the present and think about the good legacy they wish to leave behind (creating a promising future for all) for the realisation of peace, growth and development in our Communities. Our Region is blessed with all resources but just because of bad politics with our actions, decisions, divisions, conflicts and confusions among ourselves, its becomes" a curse rather than a blessing". Please let us think twice to work and join hands in hands to have peace and development in our region and South Sudan.

Conclusively, wishing you and your loved ones a merry Christmas and a happy new year. May the season brings you all Joy, forgiveness, peace, good leadership and moments of togetherness across the region .

On 1st September 2023, the leadership of Upper Nile Region Youth Union led by the Chairperson Mr. Kiir Ngor Deng paid a visit to Hon. Stefano Wieu de Mialek, the Chief Administrator of Ruweng Administrative Area.

Hon. Chief welcomed the leaders of the Upper Nile Region Youth Union.
During the meeting, the leadership of Upper Nile Region Youth Union presented a certificate of recognition to the Hon. Chief for the service delivery he is carrying out in RAA and appreciated him. In addition the leadership of Upper Nile Region Youth Union presented a plan to carry out cultural day that will bring together all different cultures within the Upper Nile Region.
On his part Hon. Chief appreciated the visit of the Youth leaders and promised to work together with them in all their plans towards uniting the people of the Upper Nile Region.

Public update!
On 13th August 2023, the leadership of Upper Nile Region Youth Union successfully conducted a getting together meeting (party) at Dembesh hotel in Juba.
The event was aiming at bringing together all Youth leaders from Upper Nile Region to work together in bringing peace to the region.

The getting together meeting under the theme: Thriving towards United, peaceful, and prosperous Upper Nile Region was attended by H:E Gen. Taban Deng G*i, Vice President for Infrastructure Cluster in the Republic of South Sudan who was the the Guest of honour for the event.
The function was as well attended by James Odhok Oyai Governor of Upper Nile State, Hon. David Dau Achuoth, executive director in the office of VP for Gender and Youth Cluster in the Republic of South Sudan and was the chief guest, Hon. Malual Tap Dieu, Finance minister in the Government of Unity State as the patron of the day, Hon. Amb. Ezekiel Lol Gatkuoth, former minister of petroleum in the Republic of South Sudan, Hon. Nyibol Miaker Monyror Minister of Gender Child and Social Welfare in the Government of RAA as special guests and many other dignitaries and honourables across the Region.
The Function was as well attended by the Counties and States Youth leaders across the Upper Nile Region.

H:E Gen. Taban called on the Youth of the Region to support peace and reconciliation among themselves and work towards reconciling the people of Upper Nile Region. H:E Gen. Taban as well appreciated the Region Youth leadership on the important step taken and assured the Youth of his support in conducting peace conference that will bring together all delegates in Upper Nile Region together.
On the other hand, the chairperson of Upper Nile Region Youth Union Mr. Kiir Ngor Deng assured his leadership' commitment to work for peace and unity among the youth of the Region.
