Attention Attention Attention!!!
I am asking on behalf of the sons and daughters of Ruweng, a region rich in oil resources—resources that rightfully belong to us all. Why are we still excluded from meaningful representation in the management and operations of the oil fields? Where do the profits from our oil go, if not back to support our communities and development?
It feels deeply unfair that those who live on this land and bear the burden of its extraction often see little benefit or say in how these valuable resources are handled. We deserve transparency, inclusion, and a fair share of the wealth generated from our homeland’s oil.
To all leaders and stakeholders in South Sudan: we call for accountability and justice—the people of Ruweng and other oil-producing areas must be empowered and truly represented.
Despite our significant contributions and sacrifices during the long struggle for South Sudan’s independence, the people of Ruweng continue to face underrepresentation at the highest levels of the national government. We have given a lot — our efforts, our lives, and our support — yet we still do not hold the key positions that influence the future of our country.
It feels like our voices are being ignored and our rightful place in governance overlooked. We are part of the foundation on which this nation was built, yet we do not see that reflected in the leadership or in the fair distribution of resources, including the wealth generated from our oil fields.
I risky my cases .
