🔔 Following the 5.3 magnitude earthquake that occurred in the southern coastal area of Myanmar, with a depth of approximately 10 kilometers, in the southwestern direction of Mae Sot District, Tak Province, approximately 247 kilometers away from the Sakai fault zone.
The QPM emphasizes the utmost safety of
residents and buildings. The administration has immediately taken action to inspect tall buildings and condominiums for safety, thoroughly assessing the safety of the building structure and various engineering systems.
✅ Inspect the building's internal systems, such as the elevator system, by testing the operation from the lowest to the highest floors to detect abnormalities, vibrations, or blockages, as well as inspecting the water supply, drainage systems, and water storage areas throughout the rooftop, underground, and within the buildings to monitor for leaks.
✅ Inspect machinery rooms and electrical systems
to assess any abnormalities, such as circuit breakers, smoke, heat accumulation, or damage that may affect usage.
✅ Conduct a physical inspection around the building, including equipment and various installations such as air conditioners, windows, and plant pots, to prevent the risk of falling objects.
Preliminary inspection found that both the inside and outside areas of the building remain in good condition and are not damaged by this earthquake.
The QPM is still closely monitoring the situation and closely monitoring the impact, and is preparing safety measures inside the building 24 hours a day to provide confidence to all residents 🧡
