Problem-Solving On-Site: Turning Design Mistakes into Functional Realities .
Often during on-site inspections, we discover that certain elements look great on paper but malfunction in reality due to design flaws. However, as Project Managers, it is our duty to make it happen and find a solution.Take this project as an example (shown in the attached photos):
The Problem: The roof design was too shallow. Instead of flowing smoothly to the lower end, rainwater drained underneath the tiles onto the underlying zinc waterproofing sheet.
Our Solution: After applying a specialized engineering solution, the rainwater now flows perfectly and smoothly all the way to the end.
