Begin with a lively long drum parade and join the joyful Ram Wong dance. Continue with the cherished ritual of pouring scented water over elders’ hands to receive their blessings, along with thoughtfully prepared souvenirs as tokens of goodwill.

Today, we had the wonderful opportunity to welcome two special guests, the head chef and owner of Schloss - Restaurant Wolfsberg in Austria. Khun Friedrich and Khun Christa joined a Thai cooking class with our talented Thai chef, Khun Nok. 🧑‍🍳👨‍🍳

Thank you both for your passion and enthusiasm in learning how to cook Thai food. We are truly proud of Thai cuisine and love sharing this experience with people from around the world.

We hope Khun Friedrich and Khun Christa will bring these flavors back to Austria and share authentic Thai dishes with their guests at their restaurant.

A heartfelt thank you to Khun Linda and Khun Michael Moffat, one of our truly lovely and valued returning guests from the UK 🇬🇧 for their wonderful 3-week stay with us.

They first visited us back in 1995, when our resort was still well known as Poppies Samui and this recent stay marks their 18th visit to their “sweet home” with us 💛

Khun Linda shared that it’s our warm welcome, attentive care, and genuine hospitality that keep bringing them back. Hearing this truly means so much to all of us. Your Thai family and friends are here 😘
